With over 15 years of experience cooking , Executive Chef Michael Woods is excited to introduce his version of a modern approach to Pan-African cuisine. Oko is a blend of comfort food favorites, street classic small plates and a mixture of all the right spices that you never knew you needed. Chef Woods has been featured in a host of articles like Forbes and Eater but is most noted for being featured in the first black history episode of "Chopped" on the Food Network. He is celebrated for his creativity, passion for food and the rich history of the African Diaspora. Bringing an Oakland native to the most Iconic building in the city is an exciting new venture we cannot wait for all to come in and enjoy. We have worked to package our meals in a way that lets you bring the quality of our meals into your home. We always love to see you in person, but even when we can't we ensure that your dining experience is top notch!

Hosting a corporate event, wedding, party or just something special you need catering for, we can create a custom menu perfect for any style event.
Walk-ins are welcomed but we encourage our guests to make reservations for parties over 5 or and dinner service to help our staff prepare for your arrival.
